About the Recipe
A low calorie, delicious and quick recipe. Comprises almost every nutrient required by the body. One can eat everything if little changes are made to achieve your weight loss goal.
1 cup milk
2 cups vegetables like french beans, capsicum, broccoli, baby corn, green peas, carrot, zuccini, cauliflower.
1 medium size onion
1 tsp oil
1 tbsp wheat flour/oats powder (for thickening)
1 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies
1tsp garlic (optional)
Oregano, chili flakes, white pepper (as required)
Salt to taste.
Firstly, par boil vegetables in sufficient water. While making sauce, mix wheat flour with little milk to avoid further lumps. Add this mixture to the whole quantity of milk. Heat and stir in between to make thick sauce. Now saute onion, garlic and green chillies till onion turns little brown, add parboiled vegetables. Pour the sauce to the vegetable mixture. Heat again for 1 minute. At the end, add herbs and the salt.
